ZWEIGART at the h&h cologne 2017
Once again, the international trade fair for hobbies and handicrafts was held in Cologne from March 31 to April 2, and, as always, we were there with a stand in Hall 2.1.
Around 16,000 professional visitors from all over the world visited the h+h cologne, thus attesting to the tradefair’s prominent position as the worldwide most important order platform in the field of textile handicrafts. According to a press release from h&h cologne, handicrafts remain in great demand as a pastime. The market figures from the Handicraft Initiative Association (Verband der Initiative Handarbeit) made this clear: measured by end consumer prices, the overall handicraft market totalled € 1.25 billion in 2016. A trend study conducted by the German Association of the Textile Retail Trade (Bundesverband des Textileinzelhandels – BTE) revealed good prospects for the industry thanks to the constant changes in the DIY scene, since it is becoming ever younger, more diverse and more networked.
Our stand, in fashionable grey and orange from our ORANGE LINE brand, was quite visible from afar thanks to two tall towers with our 140-year anniversary logo. We are presenting our latest new items from the field of needlework, as well as our patchwork merchandise. In addition to our new embroidery idea booklets, covering subjects such as kitchen, spring and modern style, and our new designer booklet “Fantasy,” we also presented modern DIY ideas such as colourful pop-pom carpets on our canvas. In the patchwork department, we are presenting new collections from our exclusive partners Benartex, Riley Blake, Penny Rose and Susybee, as well as new collections from other big-name manufacturers.
We thank all of our customers who visited us at our stand at the h&h cologne 2017!
