Hardanger is a traditional technique from Norway and is part of the breakthrough embroidery. Our squared fabrics are used for this embroidery technique - e.g. on our articles Lugana (25 ct.) and Bellana (20 ct.) - to achieve a perfect result. Hardanger embroidery can be combined with many decorative stitches such as satin stitch, cross stitch or spider stitch to form geometric patterns.
